1 Calculation
1.1 Support for Different Calculation Schemes
|
Notification Calculation Import |
With the spring release we are introducing enhanced support for the handling of different calculation schemes within a project. pCon.basket Online is now able to detect which calculation scheme was last used to calculate the project. |
When a project is opened using a different active calculation scheme, you get a notification. You are prompted to decide whether the calculation results from the previous calculation scheme should be imported into the currently active one. This feature ensures that important calculated data is not lost while working with different calculation schemes, e.g., during project exchanges between instances with different calculation schemes.
Users can optionally export an OBK without saving the calculation.
Edition: Pro / Integration
1.2 Conditions for Rounding of Net Value and Net Value for Item
|
New conditions for rounding |
The article calculation has been enhanced with two additional conditions. These new conditions can be manually added within the header calculation. They provide you the possibility to define a specific rounding rule that applies either to the Net Value for Item or the Net Value (overall). The rounding rules are applied consistently to all added items. |
Edition: Pro / CE / Integration
1.3 Header Calculation for Purchase Price
With this enhancement to the calculation, we introduce the ability to define project-specific conditions (% and absolute) on purchase costs. These adjustments directly influence the final project margin.
Edition: Pro / Integration
2 Workflow
2.1 Info-Log for Article Update
|
Dialog Update Status |
With the new version, the article update process has been enhanced to provide greater transparency throughout the update workflow. After completing the article update (including migration), a summary is displayed. The summary gives information on:
|
|
Article update – comparison report |
The Show Update Report button generates a comparison report and opens it in a new tab. This report displays the articles before and after the update, with all changes clearly highlighted for easy comparison:

2.2 Enhanced Office 365 Dialog for Shared Libraries
The dialog and workflow for accessing an Office 365 directory have been updated. For performance reasons, not all shared sites are loaded when opening the directory. Instead, the top five followed sites and the top five most recently modified sites are displayed.
A search function is available to find additional sites. This improves usability and performance, especially for users in large organizations with access to many shared sites.
Edition: Pro / CE
2.3 Support Hyperlinks in Project Texts
This feature enables you to add and manage hyperlinks within the header and end texts. You can select a text section and use the Link button to add the hyperlink or edit an existing one.
When the report is generated, all configured hyperlinks are rendered as clickable links in the final PDF.
Edition: Pro / CE / Integration
3 Report
3.1 New Quote (Matrix) Report
An additional report template is now available: Quote (Matrix).
This template consolidates identical articles contained within a project in the summarized compact view and displays them in a structured matrix format. The matrix shows both the quantities and the occurrence count of each article per folder. A wide range of configuration options allows for flexible customization of the matrix layout.
- Article-related options: texts, images, prices
- Matrix-related options: tree view, wrap text, single-time row
Edition: Pro / Integration
3.2 Miscellaneous
3.2.1 Adjusted behavior for Set Articles in Flat List View
The handling of set articles in the Flat List view has been updated. Set articles are now automatically broken up within this view. The set itself is removed and its quantities and calculations are transferred to the sub-articles. As a result, the view displays only the final articles without structural elements.
Additionally, all report options related to set articles have been removed from this view.
3.2.2 Rename Prices Category to Article Calculation
In previous releases, the report options related to article and header calculations were separated into different categories. To ensure consistency within the application, the category Prices has now been renamed to Article Calculation.
Edition: Pro / Integration
4 Miscellaneous
4.1 OEX: Include OBX for User Articles
In version 2.16, the OEX export functionality has been extended to improve support for user articles within position descriptions.
When the Attach OBX option is selected during the export process, the system now ensures that an additional OBX element is generated also for user articles included in the position description.
Edition: Pro / Integration
4.2 Highlighting Sub-Articles in Set Articles
|
Highlighted sub-articles in set article |
This feature improves the visibility of sub-articles that belong to set articles within the article list. To clearly indicate the relationship between a set article and its associated sub-articles, these sub-articles are now visually highlighted in the article list. The behavior is aligned with the existing representation of child articles in composite articles. When a set article is selected, all corresponding sub-articles are automatically highlighted. |
Edition: Pro / Integration
4.3 Office 365: Predefined File Name
Starting with version 2.16, the Save to Office 365 (SharePoint/OneDrive) functionality now supports predefined file names, similar to the behavior of local file saving.
