Release features pCon.catalog 2.6.0

1. Implementation of B2B catalogs in pCon.catalog
The pCon Community combines access to pCon services and manufacturer data in a single central online portal: pCon.catalog. This makes it significantly easier for users to find, access, and efficiently utilize brand content. At the same time, the platform provides a clearly structured workspace that connects designers and manufacturers through defined project workflows. All manufacturer data is now fully integrated and uniformly available across all pCon platforms—regardless of whether it is based on OFML or public data. This ensures standardized data availability, cross-platform visibility, and seamless integration into the entire pCon ecosystem. With the latest software version of pCon.catalog, in addition to the public manufacturers, B2B catalogs that are part of the public pCon Community are also displayed. These additional catalogs are now visible directly on the
brand page in pCon.catalog.

If the icon is green, the manufacturer has already granted the user access to the OFML data. If the icon is gray, the manufacturer offers OFML data, but access has not yet been requested or has not yet been granted by the manufacturer. If the user does not yet have access to the OFML data for a B2B catalog, they can request access directly via a link to the manufacturer overview in pCon.login. For users with the required permissions, pricing information is displayed in the product configurator for an item.

1.1.3 Manufacturers with a public catalog and a B2B catalog
Manufacturers that offer both a public catalog and B2B data will be displayed with both icons from 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. Here, too, the icon for the B2B catalog indicates whether or not the manufacturer has approved data sharing. When the user clicks on the corresponding catalog icon, the desired data is displayed. You can also switch between the two catalog types within the brand page; the icons displayed are the same.

2 New filter options on the brand overview page

3. Introduction of the pCon.catalog Pro License
With the introduction of B2B catalogs in pCon.catalog, the new pCon.catalog Pro license is also being launched. Users such as architects and interior designers who wish to view B2B data directly in the web version of pCon.catalog or access it via integrations in other applications will require a pCon.catalog Pro license. To use the B2B data within a specific application, the user must be logged into that application with their account. This license is not necessary when using B2B data from pCon.catalog within the following applications:

• pCon.planner Pro
• pCon.planner for Web Pro
• pCon.planner Next

To purchase a pCon.catalog Pro license, please contact your local sales partner.

4. New layout of pCon.catalog
The layout has been updated in the latest version of pCon.catalog. The color design of the homepage has been updated, and the icons have been slightly modified. In addition, infinite scrolling within the Models and Materials section has been replaced with a page-based view. Legal information, the imprint, information about EasternGraphics, and the version number of pCon.catalog can now be found in the footer.

5. New menu for global settings
The global settings menu has also been updated in the latest release. It can be accessed in the upper right corner of pCon.catalog, where the initials of the currently logged-in pCon.login account are displayed as an icon. From this menu, users can adjust the general language, cookie preferences, and B2B settings. Additionally, banner images from all manufacturers can be disabled here, allowing for a more compact view.
